Ketorolac 10mg Tablets
Chemical Name: KETOROLAC (kee-TOE-role-ak)

Common uses
This medicine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for short term pain relief.

Before using Ketorolac 10mg Pills
WARNING: Do not use oral and/or injectable Ketorolac Tromethamine for mild or chronic pain nor should their combined use go longer than 5 days. Use only the amount prescribed. Do not use this Ketorolac 10mg pills if you are in labor, breast-feeding, have stomach problems (e.g., peptic ulcer), major kidney problems, bleeding problems, severe dehydration, or if you are having surgery. Do not use ketorolac while using aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen). "Blood thinners" (e.g., heparin, warfarin) should be used with extreme caution. Do not use ketorolac if you are allergic to aspirin, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, celecoxib), or ketorolac itself. Elderly patients, those weighing less than 110-lbs (50kg), and those with mild kidney problems require smaller doses. Consult your doctor. Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. DO NOT TAKE KETOROLAC TROMETHAMINE if you are also taking heparins or tacrolimus. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking aminoglycoside antibiotics, amphetamines, biphosphonates (e.g., alendronate, risedronate), cyclosporine, lithium, or methotrexate. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions including asthma, nasal polyps, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking Ketorolac Tromethamine.

Directions
Use this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. YOU MAY TAKE THIS MEDICINE with food or milk to decrease the chance for stomach upset. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light.

Cautions
DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or any other medicine used to treat pain, fever, swelling, or arthritis. DO NOT TAKE OTHER anti-inflammatory medicines while you are taking this medicine. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, and many prescription medicines. If you have questions about which medicines are anti-inflammatory agents, ask your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE or take this medicine for longer than 5 days without checking with your doctor. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to this medicine. Using this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Possible side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include nausea, headache, diarrhea, dizziness, or drowsiness. If they are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience severe and continuing nausea; unusual bleeding or bruising; skin rash; yellowing of the skin or eyes; dark urine or pale stools; unusual fatigue; shortness of breath; difficulty breathing; or tightness in your chest. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if your face, lips, eyelids, tongue, or mouth develop hives or swelling. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY AND STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE if you notice the following unlikely but very serious side effects: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

If you take too much
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include stomach pain, difficulty breathing, and blood in stools.
